    The Varian AA280FS flame system provides:

    • Enhanced Fast Sequential capabilities with eight lamp capacity – enables more elements to be determined in rapid sequence from a single aspiration of each sample.
    • Increased automation for optimum precision – automated burner adjustment and programmable gas control provide the most stable and reproducible flame performance, as optimum settings can be used for each

    • Improved sample throughput – use Smart Rinse to automatically optimize the rinse time. Smart Rinse automatically reduces rinse times for samples that don’t need it and increases the rinse time for complex sample matrices, thus eliminating contamination.
    • Improved data quality – innovative Fast Sequential (FS) analysis provides new capabilities for flame AA, including semi-quantitative analysis and internal standard corrections. Multiple elements are determined in rapid sequence allowing internal standard corrections to be applied on-line to correct for long term drift or sample preparation errors. This improves precision and accuracy.
