The Agilent 6890N gas chromatograph is rugged reliable and built for a long life. This gas chromatograph uses high performance temperature control and state-of-the-art electronic pneumatic control modules each of which is optimized to coordinate with specified inlets and detector options. This is supported in a dual channel design that accommodates two inlets and two detectors. The combination of electronic pneumatic control, and temperature control in this Agilent gas chromatograph creates the superior basis of chromatographic measurement, retention time repeatability. Electronic pneumatic control columns also provide four flow control modes: constant pressure, constant flow, as well as ramped pressure and ramped flow each with three ramps.  The Agilent 6890N GC MS chromatography oven creates precision temperature ramping, quickly reaching optimal performance for peak symmetry, retention time repeatability at <0.008% or <0.0008 min, and retention index accuracy.

The Agilent 6890N gas chromatograph data output is full range, peaks from the smallest to the largest can be quantitated in a single run. This Agilent GC MS system also automatically compensates for atmospheric pressure and temperature so even if the environment of the lab were to change, the results will not. Mainframe controls automatic liquid sampling and each analysis creates a run time log to show all method parameters were achieved and maintained. Automation control and set point programing for the Agilent 6890N gas chromatograph can be done locally from the keyboard or can be controlled via a networked data system. Clock-time programing to initiate events at a future date and time is also possible and is access through the front panel

This unit also comes with Agilent Technologies 5973 Mass Selective Detector, that’s a transmission quadrupole mass spectrometer. This Agilent GC-MSD can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis via negative chemical ionization, positive chemical ionization and/or electron ionization.  The quadrupole used to generate the separately stored ion, is constructed of metalized quartz. Because the quadrupole is constructed of a single piece of quartz the critical distances remain constant, creating many years of high precision analyses. A variable voltage lens allows ions to pass through the main quadrupole entrance fringing fields without the use of pre-filters. All parts that need cleaning, like the lens, source and quad assembly in the Agilent Technologies 5973 MSD are easy access and remove. Contact us today with questions about our Agilent GCMS System.
